02.
I offer support to families who find themselves out of balance. I provide support to parents and families of all types and stages. From the birth of a newborn to the unique obstacles of adolescence, transitions pose a challenge in every family. I listen closely and thoughtfully to each family member to figure out what gets in the way of effective communication and connection.
03.
Intimate relationships are complex, there's no one size fits all. When two people come together, they bring their unique histories and patterns. While all relationships face their own challenges, you may find your struggles have become unmanageable on your own. Together, we can work to find what patterns negatively impact your relationship that may be outside of your awareness.
I help couples with:
Parenting issues
Communication issues
Substance Abuse
Difficulties with intimacy and sex
Distance/Detachment

It's not uncommon for one person to initially be more inclined to get help than the other. Together we'll work to understand more about yourself as an individual and as a partner. My goal is not to take sides but to help you feel more connected to yourself and your partner.
04.
The struggles of adolescence are unique. On the cusp of adulthood, many adolescents find this to be a very difficult time. Many parents find themselves at a loss for what to do when they notice their child struggling with intense feelings, challenges at school or with friends, or struggling to get along in the family. While I offer support to individual adolescents, I also emphasize the importance of parental involvement in supporting their child's journey to adulthood. As such, I will likely require intermittent collateral family/parent meetings in conjunction with adolescent individual therapy.
05.
For clinicians who are looking to expand their knowledge in psychodynamic and psychoanalytic forms of therapy and case conceptualization, I offer weekly consultation. In most cases, you will present a process note (a session dialogue recalled from memory) and we will review it together. My goal is to help therapists find their own voice and style while offering my own ideas and thoughts to the extent that it is helpful to your development. Above all else, I help therapists remain present and thoughtful about their and their patients' experiences in session. Contact me directly for more information and to discuss my rates.
